What I Write and Why I Write It
Folks, there will probably be all kinds of news for me to share before this is over, some good and some bad, perhaps even very good or very bad. I've promised to keep sharing it regardless, and I'll do just that. I apologize for the emotional rollercoaster that some of this news may represent, but believe me, I'm riding it with you.
Also be aware that no matter how good or bad the news is, I'll put it here first. Please, if you feel uncomfortable about possibly getting disturbing news this way, I'd be glad for you to keep up any way you like. Some folks are calling Mom directly, while others who can't visit the site are getting updates from those who do. Please understand that my intentions here aren't to hurt anyone or to minimize the importance of personal communication, but to keep everyone as connected as possible. I know all of you who know Dad love him too, and I wish I could call each of you with every piece of news. I'm sorry that I can't, but I sincerely appreciate all of you who are keeping up, and praying, and passing this news along to others who care about Dad.
